Fortune Slip

I paid a visit to a shrine this Monday. We call the first visit of the year to a shrine is "初詣/ Hatsumoude". I picked a fortune slip(おみくじ / Omikuji) there, which predicted good f
ortune for me. Then I tied up my fortune slip to the rope and I hope 2010 will be nice year.

I only have one more week off before I go back to school. I'm dropping a course, biology, because I don't want to be taking 18 credits, and also because I'd be taking 5 university courses & one language course through the community. Which is too much, since I also need a job. Oh! And also because I don't want to wake up at 5 in the morning in order to make it to lab on time. Biology sounds loads stressful. Oh, life decisions!

this was a long week but it went really fast. 2010 should be a really great year. things are changing already but it's exciting, so i'm positive!

I had an impulse buying at the end of the year. SQ28m(pokedigi).. it's my new toy digital camera. I thought I would not buy a new camera for a while though!

Page, Turned

This year has been progressing very strangely so far. Strange in a very good way. I foresee things getting incredibly stressful for me, no doubt starting sometime this week. But I have my best friend. Thus, I have faith. At this moment, I couldn't be happier.

Fireworks

In Sydney we welcome the New Year with a very grand Fire Works display on the harbour. This is a very typical New Years picture, but I like it because behind the camera my friends and I were all together, celebrating the beginning of the new year. It was a great night, and it was wonderful being with all my lovely friends. Happy New Year to everyone!
